“Pirates of Silicon Valley” 1999

“Hawking”2004
Many movies have been made about Hawking, but Benedict Cumberbatch was the first to play him. The film depicts the period when Hawking worked at Cambridge University. Doctors diagnosed Stephen at the age of 21 with a serious diagnosis – amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. According to their prognosis, he has no more than two years to live. Stephen Hawking treats his situation with irony and continues to do what he loves. It is what helps him to overcome any obstacles.
“Three Idiots” 2009
This Indian comedy is about two friends who, after several years of college, decide to find their buddy. They fondly remember the times when they all lived together in the student dormitory. During the search for their friend, they manage to upset someone’s wedding and attend a funeral. This is a film about true friendship and choosing the path of life, which inspires to learn for the sake of knowledge, not to be afraid to ask questions and defend your point of view. It is based on the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat.
“October Sky” 1999
The true story of how a miner’s son became a NASA engineer. As a teenager, Homer Hickam was so impressed by a Soviet satellite launch that he decided to build his rocket.
