Many Public Figure All around the world especially Nigerian celebrities, secular & gospel artist have all taken to the streets and also to their individual social media pages to express their concern to the youths and also to fight for the right of the freedom to speak, dress in what manner they see fit and also to be able to use expensive goods without being branded as a fraud.
As a gospel artist and also a Nigerian, Marvy sax, a well known saxophonist have also expressed his concern and support to the ENDSARS protest, just like many other youths have done and also believes that this generation can change a lot and also make this country a better place for everyone.
Sharing his experience with SARS, he said he was on his way to a program when he was stopped unnecessary to conduct a search because he was looking nice(properly dress) and they insisted he opened his sax bag to confirm what he was carrying, it was only God who help him that day from being harass by the same people who was supposed to be protecting him as a citizen of this country.
He believes that youths should not be treated like criminals but like humans that have to go about their work and also to make money like they do. He believes that using expensive phones and cars doesnt give them any right to brand such youths as thieves.
and finally he quoted ”THERE CANNOT BE YOUTH PASTORS AND SOUL WINNERS OF TOMORROW IF YOU KEEP KILLING POTENTIAL CONVERTS”
This is a message to all youths, lets continue this peaceful protest to change lives, for good security, for lost lives , for us, for Nigeria because we are Nigerians.
